Terms of service
This text describes how Pagr is built and what it stores. Last updated 2026-08-24.
These terms govern your use of the Pagr hosted service (“Service”) operated by Stagberry Labs LLC (“we”). The open-source bridge is licensed separately under Apache-2.0; these terms cover the hosted control plane, the dashboard, and messaging.
1. The service
Pagr lets you control coding agents (currently Claude Code and Codex) running on your own computer by sending messages from a verified phone. We interpret your messages, route typed commands to the bridge on your Mac, and send you notifications. We do not provide the coding agents themselves; you need your own Anthropic and/or OpenAI accounts, and their terms apply to their products.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. One phone number is linked per account. You are responsible for the security of that phone and of any Mac you pair. If someone else can use your phone, they can control your agents.
3. Free trial and payment
New accounts get a 7-day free trial that starts at signup. Payment details are collected when you sign up; nothing is charged during the trial, and the first charge is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. After the trial, the Service requires an active subscription at the price shown at checkout (currently $29/month). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only register project folders you are entitled to let agents operate on.
- Review approval requests before answering. When you approve an action, you are instructing your own agent to perform it; we execute your decision and are not responsible for its consequences.
- Comply with the terms of Anthropic, OpenAI, Apple, and your carrier.
- Do not use the Service to send spam, harass anyone, or break the law.
- Do not attempt to bypass the bridge’s command guard, signing, or approval tiers.
5. Fair use
The plan includes one paired Mac and reasonable personal or small-team usage of messaging and orchestration. We may throttle or contact you about usage patterns that look automated or abusive.
6. Your data and content
You own your code, messages, and work product. We process the data described in the privacy policy only to provide the Service. We do not claim rights to anything your agents produce.
7. Open-source bridge
The bridge is provided under the Apache License 2.0, as-is, with the disclaimers in that license. You may inspect, modify, and build it yourself. Modified bridges may be refused by the Service if they fail authentication or protocol checks.
8. Availability and changes
The Service depends on third parties (messaging delivery, LLM providers, and the coding-agent providers), whose changes may affect features. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes. Commands sent while your Mac is offline may be queued for a limited time and may expire.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Coding agents make mistakes; Pagr relays your decisions and does not review or warrant the agents’ output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or the actions of coding agents you authorized.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, hosted orchestration stops; your local agents, sessions, and repositories remain yours.
12. Trademarks
Pagr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Apple. Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, iMessage, and macOS are trademarks of their respective owners.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, to be specified after legal review. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
